The MSHS Healthcare Quality Program has received accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). We are one of the first two quality and safety programs in North America to achieve CAHME-accreditation. 
Dr. Figueiredo co-authored, “Reducing research wastage by starting off on the right foot: Optimally framing the research question,” in the March issue of Quality of Life Research.
CAHME site visit is the pinnacle of the accreditation process. Official results are expected in July.
Dr. Figueiredo wrote an article for the December issue of the NAHQ newsletter highlighting the HCQ competency-based curriculum and how student’s competency attainment is assessed.
